Online and hybrid courses at Stanly Community College are presented through Canvas.
Canvas has a number of communications tools including an Inbox (located in the far left Global Navigation Menu), where you can compose messages to your instructor. Canvas will also forward notifications of incoming Inbox messages to your SCC email account.
Your instructor’s contact information is also located in your course syllabus (available under Syllabus in the course navigation menu on the left within Canvas).
Email contact should always be through the Canvas Inbox or your SCC student Gmail account unless you are experiencing technical difficulties.
