Why does WebAdvisor say it is currently unavailable due to system maintenance?

WebAdvisor is unavailable from 11PM to 6AM nightly, and on Wed. evenings at 6PM for scheduled system maintenance. If you visit WebAdvisor outside these times and still get the "unavailable" message, then most likely to correct the issue you will need to clear your internet cache. Follow the directions below for your specific web browser:

 

Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.0

 

   1. Open Internet Explorer.

   2. Click the tools icon in the top right corner (looks like a gear).

   3. Click Internet Options and choose the General tab.

   4. Click Delete under "Browsing History".

   5. Make sure all the boxes are checked EXCEPT Preserve Favorites website data.

   6. Click the Delete button.

   7. Click OK then restart the web browser.

 

Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0

 

   1. Open Internet Explorer.

   2. Click Tools in the top-right corner.

   3. Click Internet Options.

   4. Click Delete under "Browsing History".

   5. Make sure all the boxes are checked EXCEPT Preserve Favorites website data.

   6. Click the Delete button.

   7. Click OK then restart the web browser.

 

 

Mozilla Firefox 5.0 - 7.0

 

   1. Click on the orange Firefox button in the top-left corner of the browser.

   2. Click the arrow next to history.

   3. Select "Clear recent history"

   4. Select "Everything" from the drop down menu

   5. Make sure "Browsing & Downloading history" is selected, along with "Cookies"          and "Cache"

   6. Click the "Clear Now" button, then restart Firefox

 

Google Chrome

 

   1. Click on the Customize and Control icon in the top-right corner (looks like a                  wrench).         

   2. Select Options in the drop-down menu.

   3. Click on the "Under the Hood" tab on the left side of the page.

   4. Click the "Clear browsing data..." button.

   5. Make sure "Clear browsing history" and "Empty the cache" are selected.

   6. Click the "Clear browsing data" button.

   7. Exit and re-launch the browser.
