If it is available, avoid using the browser Internet Explorer with Moodle.


Try one of these browsers:


Google Chrome  Google Chrome logo


Mozilla Firefox   Mozilla Firefox logo


Using one of these browsers will give you a better Moodle experience.



Updating Browsers


If you experience issues with your browser, it's possible that you may need to update your browser. There is also the possibility that other items may need updating such as Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, or Java.



How to Update the Google Chrome Browser


Google Chrome usually updates by itself when you close and re-open your browser. How to check if Google Chrome is up to date:

Click About Google Chrome from the list.

If your browser is up to date you will see a message that Google Chrome is up to date.


If your browser is not up to date click the menu button in the upper right corner of the window and select Update Google Chrome.



How to Update the Mozilla Firefox Browser

Click the ? at the bottom of the list for the Help Menu.

Click About Firefox from the list. If your browser is up to date you will see the message Firefox is up to date

If Firefox is not up to date click on button Update Firefox. You may be prompted to restart Firefox after the update.
